We built CommonGround a digital home worthy of the real farmers and ranchers it represents, fast, beautiful, and impossible to ignore.

CommonGround needed more than a website, they needed a storytelling engine. We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress editorial platform using Elementor Pro, architecting content hubs for crops and livestock, a searchable farmer directory, an events module, and a blog system built for long-form agricultural storytelling. Every page was engineered for speed, SEO discoverability, and the kind of emotional resonance that turns casual visitors into advocates for American farming.

CommonGround's mission is powerful: connect consumers with the real farmers and ranchers who grow their food. But their digital presence wasn't doing that mission justice.

The existing site felt dated and generic, templated layouts that buried rich stories, slow page loads that pushed mobile visitors away, and an SEO footprint so thin that the farmers' voices were invisible to anyone searching for answers about modern agriculture. In an era where misinformation about farming spreads faster than fact, CommonGround needed a platform that could compete with mainstream outlets on credibility, speed, and visual authority.

Editorial Design System

Designed a magazine-inspired visual language with asymmetric photo collages, editorial typography, and a warm teal-and-orange brand palette that feels as grounded as the farmers it represents.

Content Hub Architecture

Built structured content hubs for crops and livestock, a searchable farmer directory with crop/state filtering, and a featured video system, all powered by custom Elementor Pro templates.

SEO & Performance Engineering

Optimized every page for Core Web Vitals, implemented semantic HTML structure for long-tail agricultural queries, and built a blog system designed for E-E-A-T signals.
